Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of DocVerifyPro. By using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

("DocVerifyPro", "we", "us").

1. What the service is
DocVerifyPro is document imaging software. It repairs photographs of documents — correcting perspective, shadow, colour cast and glare — and re-encodes the result to a chosen file format, resolution and file-size limit. All processing runs in your own web browser.
What the service is not. DocVerifyPro does not verify, authenticate or certify any document. It cannot determine whether a document is genuine, and it makes no such claim. It does not provide legal, immigration, tax, financial or professional advice. It does not issue, create or generate identity documents of any kind.
1.4 Intellectual property and permitted use
DocVerifyPro, its name, logo, interface, compliance presets and the imaging engine that performs the corrections are the property of Soelys Muñoz and are protected by copyright. DocVerifyPro™ is claimed as a trademark.
The engine is delivered to your browser because that is the only way it can run on your own device without your document being uploaded. Delivery for execution is not a licence. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service as offered. You may not:
- copy, reproduce, republish, host or mirror the source, in whole or in part;
- modify, translate, decompile or reverse-engineer it, or create derivative works;
- operate, sell or offer any service based on it, whether or not for a fee;
- remove or alter any copyright, trademark or attribution notice.
Nothing here restricts rights that cannot be restricted by contract under the law that applies to you.
2. Plans, billing and auto-renewal
Please read this section before you subscribe
The two monthly plans — Professional Team and Corporate Studio — renew automatically. The 3-document pack and the 30-day pass are one-time payments and never renew. When you subscribe, your payment method is charged immediately and then once every month on the same date at the same price, until you cancel. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee.
You can cancel at any time, in one click, from Account → Manage billing in the app, or from the link in your Stripe receipt where Stripe includes one. No email, phone call or explanation is required. Cancelling stops all future charges.
Correcting a document and viewing the finished result costs nothing and requires no card or account — you see the finished document on screen, with no watermark, and can inspect any part of it at 100% with the lens, for as many documents as you like. Downloading the file itself — the full-resolution file — is not included and is charged as set out below. There is no free download tier.

Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax that may apply in your jurisdiction. We may change prices, but a change will never affect a billing period you have already paid for, and we will notify active subscribers by email at least 30 days before a price change takes effect.
2.1 How to cancel
Any of the following cancels your subscription:
- Click Manage subscription in the app and select cancel.
- Open the receipt Stripe emailed you and use the cancellation link.
- Email us at the address above and ask. We will action it.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. You keep access until then.
2.2 Refunds
One-time payments are final. The 3-document pack ($9.99) and the 30-day pass ($19.99) are not refundable. This is not fine print — it follows from how the product works: you correct your document, see the finished document on screen and can inspect any part of it at 100% with the lens — with no watermark, no account and no card — before you pay anything. The download is the full-resolution file. What you are paying for is the download of a result you have already inspected, so there is nothing left to evaluate afterwards.
If we take a payment and you do not receive your file, that is not a refund question and we will make it right. Email us and we will either deliver the file or return the payment. That applies however it happened — a failed download, a browser crash, an error on our side.
Subscriptions: cancel any time, no refunds. On Professional Team ($149/mo) and Corporate Studio ($349/mo) you can cancel in one click, at any moment and with no minimum term. Cancelling stops every future charge immediately and you keep access until the period you have already paid for ends. Payments already made are not refunded, including the period in progress.
Consumers in the EU and UK: the download is digital content delivered at once. By paying you ask us to deliver it immediately and you acknowledge that your 14-day right of withdrawal ends when the download starts.
Nothing here limits any statutory refund right you have under the consumer law of your own country.
Who sells to you. Purchases are sold through Link (Stripe) as reseller; Link may issue refunds in limited cases under its own terms.
2.3 Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, access to paid features is suspended until payment succeeds. Your settings and licence record are retained for a short period so you can resume.
3. Acceptable use
You may use DocVerifyPro only on documents you own or are lawfully authorised to handle.
You must not use this service to:
- alter, falsify or misrepresent the content of any document — the service is for image quality and file format only, and altering substantive content is a misuse of it;
- create, forge or assist in producing any false identity, financial, academic or government document;
- process documents belonging to another person without that person's knowledge and consent, or without a lawful basis;
- misrepresent a processed file as an original, certified or officially issued document;
- break any law that applies to you.
We may terminate access immediately, without refund, if we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.
3.1 No-falsification clause
DocVerifyPro adjusts the file — its format, resolution and size. It has no feature that edits the content of a document, and it never will. It cannot change a name, a number, a date, a photograph, a signature or a seal, and any attempt to present its output as an altered or newly issued document is a breach of these Terms and, in most jurisdictions, a criminal offence.
The optional Signature tool adds your own handwritten signature as new ink on top of the finished document. It is additive by construction — it cannot erase, cover or modify anything already on the page — and it may be used only on documents you are authorised to sign. Applying a signature that is not your own, or presenting a signed output as executed by someone else, is a breach of this clause.
Using this service in connection with identity fraud, forged government documents, falsified financial or academic records, or any attempt to deceive an agency, employer, lender or institution is strictly prohibited and terminates your right to use it immediately and without refund.
An honest word about enforcement. We cannot detect misuse, because we never receive your documents — processing happens entirely on your device. That is a deliberate privacy design, and it means responsibility for lawful use rests entirely with you. We will respond to valid legal process, but you should understand that we hold no document data to produce: there are no files, no images and no extracted content in our possession to hand to anyone.
4. Your documents
Your documents are processed entirely on your own device and are never transmitted to us. We therefore claim no rights over them, hold no copy of them, and have no ability to access, recover or disclose them. See the Privacy Policy for the full data-flow description.
Because we never hold your files, you are solely responsible for keeping your own copies. We cannot recover a document you lose.
5. No guarantee of acceptance
Format presets reflect requirements published by agencies, employers and institutions as of the date shown against each preset in the app. These requirements change without notice, and presets marked UNVERIFIED are starting points only. You are responsible for confirming the current requirements with the receiving organisation before you submit anything. We do not warrant that any file produced by this service will be accepted by any recipient, and we are not responsible for a rejected submission, a missed deadline or any consequence of one.
5b. This is not legal, immigration or tax advice
DocVerifyPro is a technical imaging tool. It changes the file — its size, resolution, colour and format — and it never changes what the document says. It does not read your case, does not know your circumstances, and has no opinion about whether you should file anything.
When the software says a document is ready for a destination, that is a statement about the file measured against a published limit on the date shown in the preset — not about your application, your eligibility, or whether the receiving body will accept it. We are not lawyers, accountants or immigration advisers, and nothing here creates that relationship.
You are responsible for the documents you put into the tool: that you are entitled to hold them, that their contents are accurate, and that they are the ones the receiving body actually asked for. You are also responsible for confirming the current requirements with that body before you file. Published specifications change, and a preset carries the date it was last verified precisely so you can tell how recent it is.
6. Availability
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The application runs in your browser, so it continues to function during an outage of our licence server, except that new purchases and licence checks will be unavailable until service resumes.
7. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or opportunity, even if advised such damages were possible.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your misuse of the service or your breach of Section 3.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Changes are posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. If a change is material and you are an active subscriber, we will email you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that constitutes acceptance.
11. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. Sections 4, 5, 7, 8 and 9 survive termination.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here deprives you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your own country of residence.
