DocSupra, inside your AI assistant
Claude and any MCP assistant can read the rules, check a file’s numbers and verify your audit log. No document ever travels.
Connect Claude and other AI assistants to DocSupra.
The short answer. Add one address, https://api.docsupra.com/mcp, to Claude, Claude Code, Cursor or any assistant that speaks the Model Context Protocol. The assistant can then answer what a destination requires, check a file’s numbers against it, open the right studio already set up and, with your organisation’s API key, read your audit log and verify its chain. The assistant is yours and runs on your own AI subscription. The connector never receives a document.
Teams now ask an assistant before they open a manual. If the assistant can ask DocSupra directly, the answer is the published rule and not a guess: “USCIS takes 12 MB per file, your 15 MB PDF does not fit, open this link to fix it.” And because documents are processed on the device that holds them, connecting an assistant does not open a path for a file to leave.
What an assistant can do
What each destination asks for: format, maximum size, DPI and pixels, with the source and whether the limit was verified against the official page.
Given a file’s format, size and pixel dimensions, say which limits it meets and which it does not. Numbers only; never the file.
A link that opens the Compliance Studio, the Integrity Scanner or the Enterprise Compliance Studio already set to the destination, the document type and the format.
With an organisation API key: the month’s batches, one batch with its rows, and a verification of the hash chain.
Downloads per person and per department, and the compliance mode in force. Read only.
One link per client reference, for a destination and a department.
What to ask
- “What does USCIS accept, and is my 15 MB PDF fine?”
- “Give me the link to prepare a W-2 as a PDF for the IRS.”
- “Was last month’s audit log altered? Summarise the retakes by department.”
- “Create capture links for cases 1042 to 1050, destination USCIS, legal.”
How to connect
Add the address
In your assistant, add a remote MCP server with the address
https://api.docsupra.com/mcp. The public answers need no key.Create an API key for your organisation
An administrator creates it in Account and team, under API and webhooks. It is shown once and stored hashed.
Send the key as a header
Configure the connector to send the key as a bearer header. The organisation actions then appear to the assistant.
Ask
The developer guide lists every action and what it returns.
What it is not
DocSupra runs no AI model behind the connector: the assistant is the customer’s own, and what it says is its own responsibility. The connector cannot receive, read or return a document, and a key cannot download files, administer the organisation or change the policy. An organisation can make 200 requests a day through the connector.
What it costs a team
Both plans include the same software. Corporate Studio adds people, a named support contact and invoice billing.
Prices are in USD and exclude any tax that applies in your country; Stripe calculates it and shows it before you pay. Only the monthly plans renew, and they cancel in one click from the Stripe receipt.

What is the DocSupra MCP connector?
A Model Context Protocol server at https://api.docsupra.com/mcp that lets an AI assistant such as Claude ask DocSupra what a destination requires, check a file’s numbers against it, get links that open each studio ready to use and, with an organisation API key, read the organisation’s audit log, usage and policy and create capture links.
Does the assistant see our documents?
No. Documents are processed on the device that holds them and DocSupra has no upload endpoint. The connector answers with public specifications, links and the organisation’s metadata: names or pseudonyms, hashes and verdicts.
Who pays for the AI?
The assistant runs on the customer’s own AI subscription. DocSupra runs no AI model for the connector.
Which assistants work with it?
Any client that supports remote Model Context Protocol servers over HTTP, including Claude, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code. The organisation actions need a client that can send an Authorization header.
Which plans include the organisation actions?
The public answers need no plan. The organisation actions use an API key, which comes with Professional Team ($149 per month, up to 3 people) and Corporate Studio ($349 per month, 10 people included and $29 per extra seat, up to 500 people).
