The Compliance Studio, explained: one document, fixed to the exact spec, on your own device.
The short answer. Drop a photo or a PDF, say what the document is and where it is going, and the studio prepares it exactly for that destination: the right file type, the right size in MB, the right resolution and page size, with a dated receipt hash. Choose “Keep as shot” and nothing is cropped, turned or recoloured.
It does not guess. Nothing is processed until you pick the document type and the destination, because a generic result is the wrong result for a filing. The file never leaves your browser.
What it does
At drop time the studio asks what the document is and where it is going. Until you answer, nothing runs. If it looks like an ID card it says so and lets you confirm.
IDs, passports, permits, cards and anything you keep “as shot” keep their pixels: no crop, no turn, full colour. The Treatment chip on the result says which path was taken.
When you choose a page type (W-2, bank statement, contract, utility bill), the photo is straightened, the desk trimmed away, glare and shadow evened and the text sharpened, and you can switch each step off.
JPEG, PNG, PDF, PDF/A-1b or DOCX; an exact MB or KB target; the DPI and page size the destination asks for. Twenty-eight destination presets carry each institution’s published limit; every setting can be set by hand.
The result is shown at full size on screen, sharp, with no watermark. Downloading is what is paid.
Each delivered file carries a SHA-256 receipt hash, and docsupra.com/verify tells whether a file is the one that was delivered.
JPEG, PNG, HEIC, TIFF, WEBP, PDF, DOCX, PPTX, XLSX or a ZIP of them, from the camera, the clipboard or a folder.
There is no upload endpoint. It also installs as an app and keeps working without a connection.
How to use it
Open the Compliance Studio
Go to docsupra.com/#studio, or pick Compliance Studio from the “Go to” menu in any studio.
Drop the file
A photo, a scan or a PDF, up to 30 MB. A thumbnail appears with the question: what is this document, and where is it going?
Choose, or keep as shot
Pick the type and the destination and press Continue, or press Keep as shot. Every setting the destination implies is filled in and shown; change any of them.
Check and download
Read the result at full size and the specification chips (format, size, DPI, dimensions, treatment). Download the finished file with its receipt.
Who it is for
People filing with USCIS, the IRS, the Social Security Administration, a DMV, a lender, a landlord, a university or an employer portal; freelancers and small offices that prepare a few documents a day. Firms that prepare fifty or more documents per run use the Enterprise Compliance Studio on a team plan.
What it is not
It does not decide whether a document is genuine, it does not give legal, immigration or tax advice, and it is not affiliated with any government agency. Whether a file is accepted is decided by the destination; the studio delivers the file to the destination’s published specification.
What the Compliance Studio costs
Seeing the result is free. Downloading the finished file is paid, once.
Questions
Does the Compliance Studio upload my document?
No. The file is read, repaired and exported inside your browser. There is no upload endpoint, no server copy and no retention period. Your receipt carries a SHA-256 hash of the delivered file, which you can check at docsupra.com/verify.
What if I do not know the document type?
Pick “Keep as shot”. The file is delivered with nothing cropped, turned or recoloured, at the size and format the destination asks for. If you know the type, choosing it (ID card, passport, W-2, bank statement, contract…) prepares the file exactly for it.
Will it turn my ID card black and white or rotate it?
No. Cards, passports and anything you keep “as shot” keep their colour, orientation and framing. Only page documents you choose yourself (a W-2, a statement, a contract) get the page treatment: straightened, trimmed and cleaned.
Which formats and sizes can it deliver?

Can I see the result before paying?
